Home Help / Residential Assistance - Taking a weight off your shoulders
Running a home is time-consuming and can often require great effort. Our staff can take a weight off your shoulders, allowing you to enjoy a more stress-free life or giving you the opportunity to recuperate from illness or injury.
The following information will give you an indication of the types of domestic duties we can carry out in your home. This list is not intended to be exhaustive – any and all services you may require can be discussed.
Light housekeeping
Our care staff will help you around the house by carrying out duties such as bed-making, ironing, dusting of furniture, vacuuming and general tidying. Your Carer will also be happy to do some dish-washing and look after your laundry for you.
Preparing and serving meals
Eating regular balanced and nutritious meals every day is key to remaining healthy and active. However, cooking a full meal can often prove too strenuous for an individual who is incapacitated due to illness, injury or old age. Why not relax and let your Carer prepare a delicious meal or snack for you to enjoy? Be sure to let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements so that we can accommodate you.
Grocery shopping
Our Carers can do some grocery shopping for you, ensuring that your cupboards are stocked and that you have everything you need within easy reach.
Errand services
Your Carer can run errands for you, such as picking up your prescription from the pharmacy, dropping letters to the post office, etc.
General duties
At your request, our Carers can answer telephone calls and organise your incoming post for you.
